Mexico Pt III

I know, I know, another Mexico post – but I swear this is the last one! I’m actually feeling pretty behind as of late, being that I actually just got back from 2 weeks in NYC + Jersey (hence my lack of posting last week…woops!), but I’m still writing about Mexico. When will I finally be caught up with life?! Probably never, right? 😛

Daniel and I took these pictures on our last night in Mexico, right before taking in a beautiful sunset and dinner on the water. This trip was actually pretty short, but so so special and honestly one of our favorites to date. I mean, what’s not to love about eating your weight in shrimp ceviche and piña coladas on the beach everyday?

I was channeling some major island vibes during this whole trip, in case you can’t tell by the reappearance of this red floral scarf (which I couldn’t get enough of – and I normally kiiind of hate red). I’m also a huge sucker for the frayed bottom jean trend – I feel like a lot of them are pretty cropped depending on how long their fray is which is great for short girls like me (5’2″ represent!), and these ultra comfy mary jane clogs are probably one of my favorite purchases so far this year. Simultaneously classic and trendy all at once – how do they do it?! Any heel that can give me some height and still be comfortable is alright in my book.

Daniel and I will be back at the beach next month for a friend’s wedding in South Florida, so I’m sure I’ll be busy seeking out lots of other tropical appropriate garb until then – but in the meantime, I’m keeping all of you FL friends in my thoughts and prayers. Stay safe during the hurricane everyone!
