Hello, hello! Happy Monday everyone – another new week is upon us. I can’t believe we’re almost through September! Everyone is talking about sweaters and pumpkin spice lattes, but we’ve yet to feel any sort of crisp sweater weather here in the desert (although I did go out and buy a bunch of Fall candles last night…gotta find some way to distinguish between seasons! Bless you, autumn wreath candle 😛 ).

Anyway, earlier this Summer I found this top at a Buffalo Exchange, and immediately fell in love with it. In fact, I’ve been wearing it pretty religiously ever since. I’ve always taken a liking to more abstract pastel soft pop style patterns – being a graphic designer, I feel like I have a greater appreciation of what goes into pattern and textile making (which I’ve done some work in myself!), even if it may not always be showcased throughout my wardrobe. I’ve linked to one of my favorite pattern / textile designers below, in case you’re in need of some more soft pop in your life!
All patterns by Ashley Goldberg. See more on her Pinterest!
Pretty much none of the actual products that I’m wearing in this post are available anymore (sometimes ya gotta get use out of the goodies that you’ve already got in your closet, #amiright?), but I’ve linked to several very similar product options. Since I couldn’t find a shirt with a similar pattern, I just chose a few pretty pastel loose fitting peplum tops that should fit the bill pretty closely! Check back later this week for another post – I’m gonna try to start posting more frequently on here (fingers crossed I can find the time!). Hope your week is off to a brilliant start!
