Hey ya’ll! It’s been a minute. I’m not sure if it’s the weather getting warmer (or in the case of Phoenix, straight up HOT!), or the fact that I’ve just been a busy little bee, but time has been flying lately! However, time flying aside, I’m here now! Here, and ready to update y’all on life – and also tell you about my new ultimate travel backpack (for fashion girls, duh!).
Ultimate Travel Backpack Products
I recently discovered Archer Brighton bags in a Facebook thread of all places, and ever since then, the sleek minimalist / fashion girl / on the go crazy person inside of me has been obsessed. Lemme tell ya why!
As some of you know, I’ve been a freelance graphic designer for almost a year now, which means I’m on the go a decent amount of time. Sometimes I enjoy working from home at my desk, but other times I’ll go to a coffee shop or even be traveling out of state while I work – which means I’ve gotta bring all my design stuff with me!
Toting my laptop and design equipment around can be a really big hassle, and also dangerous if it’s not all packed up right (helloooo, has anyone else dropped their harddrive and lost everything?! Yeah – not trying to ever go through that trauma again!). So what’s so great about this backpack is that has a compartment for literally everything. It has a laptop sleeve (duh), which is big enough to fit both my laptop and my iPad pro. It has compartments for your pens (or Apple pencil!), a perfect little spot that’s handy for my mouse, and about a zillion other neatly laid out compartments for whatever you might need to bring with you. This makes my life so much easier when it comes to being on the go with my design (or blogging) work!
Another thing I love about this bag is it’s fashion forward style. I feel like most travel / on the go bags I come across (that have all the compartments I need) are super bulky and awkward. I mean, honestly – the last thing I need is to end up looking like middle school me with a giant backpack that I can barely carry! I still have PTSD from those days. 😂 Thankfully, this bag is made of a super sleek nylon that’s easy to clean, and leather for all the straps and trim – so I can pretend like I’m an adult that actually has it all together. 😉
Okay, now onto the life update – Daniel and I are taking our first real international trip together (because Canada def doesn’t count, haha), and heading to Paris in the Spring! I’m SO excited for so many reasons, and now I’ll be able to put my ultimate travel backpack to the ultimate travel test too!
If you have any must-see Paris suggestions for me, by all means – please tell me about them below!
