Guys!! Officially coming to you from the other side – and by the other side, I mean my *thirties.* PAUSE FOR EFFECT. 😛 Not gonna lie, it was something that I was literally dreading for the longest, but now that it’s actually here I’ve decided to just embrace it. After all, life is good! Age is just a number. I feel happy and blessed in my everyday life – and while nothing ever turns out quite like you plan, I feel like I’m on a path that I’m excited about. So all that to say…20’s, you were alright. Now I’m old and wise so…bring it on 30’s. OKAY enough of the sap, let’s talk about what really matters…the fact that it’s SUMMER and this bomb Summer Frosé with Barefoot Wine Frosé recipe I made. 🙂

Hello again! Coming to you from social distancing day who the heck even knows anymore…because I sure don’t that’s for sure. Idk how you guys have been living your life during quarantine, but I’ve basically been living in sweats nonstop. Like…I honestly need to get my act together y’all haha. HOWEVER, I’ve decided that in order to get my life together and start being more productive during this time, I needed to give myself a low maintenance get ready routine that doesn’t take too long but still makes me feel good! Enter, the Waterless Collection from Pantene. I’m about to bless y’all with some get ready knowledge rn!!
Hi guys! Today’s post is a little different than usual, but one that I’m really excited to share with you all! As some of you probably already know, Daniel and I recently celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary (hi, we’re officially old) on February 3rd. (Yes, the Super Bowl. We actually got married on the Super Bowl too…what are sports? 😂 ) Anyway, as you can imagine, a lot can change in 6 years! So we decided to get all dressed up in our wedding best again and have ourselves a fun little wedding do-over shoot! An Arizona desert boho elopement wedding style shoot to be exact. 😏 Wedding trends come and go (clearly – peep some photos from our actual wedding here), but the one thing I’d never change is my groom. Or our sweet little ring bearer – look at that tiny pink noseeee!
I’ll spare you all the details of me telling you about how much I love Daniel, and just let the photos do the talking instead. I hope you guys enjoy them, find inspiration in them for all you engaged couples, and let them remind you that you’re never too old to dress up and have fun with the one you love. 🙂 Also if you love this style, I made sure to link all the products that I could below for you guys so you can rock this style too! And special thanks to Lulu’s for sending me this lovely dress to skip through the desert in. 🙂
Right now you can use code INFLUENCER for 25% off a stay of your own and free valet parking at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar PHX!
I don’t know about you guys, but traveling is one of my favorite things to do. Unfortunately, if you aren’t a full-time travel blogger, then there might not always be budget or enough vacation days for a big getaway! So, what do you do? Enter, the Staycation. Staycations are like the little sister of the vacation. They’re the perfect way to spend some time outside of the house, have some of the same relaxing perks of being on vacation, and get to know your own city! Kind of like traveling without any of the actual exhausting “travel” part involved. Daniel and I were fortunate enough to recently partner with Hotel Palomar right in downtown Phoenix for a little staycation of our own, and now I’m here to convince you why everyone (yes, including you!) should take a staycation at least once. 🙂
You know how some things are just meant to be? From start to finish, it’s perfect timing, and there’s no doubt in your mind – it must be fate. Well, that’s exactly what happened with me and Jord Watches this past month. But first, let me back up a bit (so you can understand why)!
PSST! There’s a sweet giveaway at the end of this post too – dont miss out!
There’s something to be said for a morning ritual – an order in which you do things to get your day started on the right note. A favorite song to wake you up, a morning yoga routine to energize you, a cup of morning coffee. Honestly, my morning routine is something I desperately need to work on. You’d think I’d be better about having a peaceful morning ritual, especially as a freelancer who can make my own schedule – but I suppose that’s just something I’ll have to try and improve on this year! Anyway, while Daniel and I have gotten pretty lax about keeping to any sort of regular routine lately, there’s still one thing that we usually love to share in together to start our day off right – and that’s our cup of morning coffee. I’ve never been the biggest fan of New Year’s resolutions – the whole concept seems just a teensy bit flighty, and most people tend to abandon them by the end of January, right? Instead, I’m more of a believer that you should constantly be making new goals and trying to improve upon yourself. I mean, sure – the start of a new year can be a motivating blank slate, all fresh, new, and ready for change. But I also feel like the new year can contain a lot of pressure to make it your “best year yet!” And while the reality is that I truly do hope this is one of the best years yet (for everyone), I know that there will undoubtedly be some challenges and hardships along the way.
That being said, I decided to put together a small list of 5 goals you can actually keep in the new year – regardless of your age, sex, interests, etc. Basically, if you’re a human, I think you’ve got a pretty good chance at killing it with these 5 goals in the new year. 🙂
