Hi guys! Today’s post is a little different than usual, but one that I’m really excited to share with you all! As some of you probably already know, Daniel and I recently celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary (hi, we’re officially old) on February 3rd. (Yes, the Super Bowl. We actually got married on the Super Bowl too…what are sports? 😂 ) Anyway, as you can imagine, a lot can change in 6 years! So we decided to get all dressed up in our wedding best again and have ourselves a fun little wedding do-over shoot! An Arizona desert boho elopement wedding style shoot to be exact. 😏 Wedding trends come and go (clearly – peep some photos from our actual wedding here), but the one thing I’d never change is my groom. Or our sweet little ring bearer – look at that tiny pink noseeee!
I’ll spare you all the details of me telling you about how much I love Daniel, and just let the photos do the talking instead. I hope you guys enjoy them, find inspiration in them for all you engaged couples, and let them remind you that you’re never too old to dress up and have fun with the one you love. 🙂 Also if you love this style, I made sure to link all the products that I could below for you guys so you can rock this style too! And special thanks to Lulu’s for sending me this lovely dress to skip through the desert in. 🙂
I’ve never been the biggest fan of New Year’s resolutions – the whole concept seems just a teensy bit flighty, and most people tend to abandon them by the end of January, right? Instead, I’m more of a believer that you should constantly be making new goals and trying to improve upon yourself. I mean, sure – the start of a new year can be a motivating blank slate, all fresh, new, and ready for change. But I also feel like the new year can contain a lot of pressure to make it your “best year yet!” And while the reality is that I truly do hope this is one of the best years yet (for everyone), I know that there will undoubtedly be some challenges and hardships along the way.
That being said, I decided to put together a small list of 5 goals you can actually keep in the new year – regardless of your age, sex, interests, etc. Basically, if you’re a human, I think you’ve got a pretty good chance at killing it with these 5 goals in the new year. 🙂
Happy Friday guys! Today’s post is more of a personal one – I hope you’re okay with it. 😉 Daniel and I recently had the chance to do a kind of spontaneous, impromptu lifestyle shoot with a local photographer here in Phoenix (her name is Chelsey Herrera, and she is amazing!), and we decided to jump on the opportunity. While we may not always be the most photogenic or model-esque in front of the camera, we realized it’s been almost 5 years since we actually had any sort of *nice* photos taken together, so we figured that it was kind of long overdue at this point. Seriously – the last time we had professional photos done together was at our wedding…time freakin’ FLIES you guys! Lucky for you, we were able to act like (semi) normal people long enough to document it. Ha!
