I know, I know, another Mexico post – but I swear this is the last one! I’m actually feeling pretty behind as of late, being that I actually just got back from 2 weeks in NYC + Jersey (hence my lack of posting last week…woops!), but I’m still writing about Mexico. When will I finally be caught up with life?! Probably never, right? 😛
Daniel and I took these pictures on our last night in Mexico, right before taking in a beautiful sunset and dinner on the water. This trip was actually pretty short, but so so special and honestly one of our favorites to date. I mean, what’s not to love about eating your weight in shrimp ceviche and piña coladas on the beach everyday?
Hi everyone! It’s hard to believe the month of August is almost over, and that Summer is on it’s last legs (well…maybe not so much in AZ). Where has the time gone?! I’ll be keeping today’s post short and sweet since this morning I am catching an early flight to NYC, but right here and now on the blog it’s still all about Mexico! When we booked this trip it was really last minute, so we were super fortunate to be able to snag an oceanfront room and get to see this beautiful blue water first thing every morning. Now I don’t know about you, but I could definitely get used to it. 😉
¡Viva la Mexico! Last month, Daniel (the huz) and I decided to take a little last minute getaway trip to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico to celebrate my birthday. It’s only about a 3.5 hour drive from Phoenix, but for some reason we had never bothered to go before – even though it’s significantly closer than Cali, it just seemed like more of a commitment. You need your passport, driving there can be stressful, you have to make sure you turn your travel pass on for your phone…the list goes on. Whatever! Now that we’ve been, I’m seriously kicking myself for not going sooner. The beaches in Mexico are SO BEAUTIFUL, and remind me so much of our time living in West Palm Beach (which we’re going to be re-visiting very soon! But more on that later 🙂 ).
